MBAs in The Woods
Camp Bernard near Victoria is the perfect outdoor setting for a drumming and team building session. I recently had the opportunity to lead University of Victoria MBA program staff, Pinnacle Pursuits staff, and about 50 MBA program business leaders participated in a ‘sparkless’ fireside Drum Circle workshop. This was an amazingly connective experience for me and one of my favourite pairings, outdoor experiential education and drumming! Thank you to David Dunne, program director for UVic’s MBA program and his staff, hosts Pinnacle Pursuits’ founder Jono Willcocks and Camp Bernard on-site lead Jake Czerpak and his staff. Team building at it’s finest!
Lyle Povah from Drumming and Health, was in Sooke BC delivering an outdoor team building drum circle workshop for the University of Victoria’s MBA program. This powerful experience models for business leaders an innovative way to build effective teams, and to enhance their sense of community and connectedness.
Drumming and Health is grateful to Pinnacle Pursuits founder Jono Willcocks and Camp Bernard on-site lead Jake Czerpak and his staff. Also to UVic MBA program director David Dunne and his staff for this, our third opportunity to work together.
